Hogle Zoo!

While Kyle and Kayla were in California Greg and I took Kameron & Karianne to the zoo! Karianne was terrified at first. It took her a little while to warm up to the animals! We saw the animals, played at the kid's playground, had slushies and ice cream, and rode the train.

Girls trip to Vegas!

My Aunt turned 60 this year and her family and my mom put together a surprise party for her in Las Vegas. So we decided me and the girls would join my mom and sister to surprise her for it! It was a fun bonding trip for me and the girls!

After getting up really early to head down to Vegas, we were so exhausted! We went to lunch after we got there and surprised her! Karianne rubbed Kayla's back while we were at the restaurant!

After lunch on our way to the hotel, Karianne decided to take a nap!

That night there was a retirement party for her also at a Mexican restaurant that her work put on. The girls decided to stay and play with some cousins while my mom, sister, and I went! The next night was her surprise birthday party that I don't have any pictures from.

These are some of my cousins (her son and family)!

The girls swam everyday whenever there was free time! They got a little silly with cheese-whiz!

Fall cookies!

After Easter I didn't make very many sugar cookies. I got burned out! But by Fall I was ready to make them again. I decided to try some chocolate frosting on some of them and those actually ended up being our favorite! It was one of the treats I made to take to Vegas with us in September! They were yummy!

Kameron's 9th Birthday!

Kameron decided he wanted to do a Halloween party this year. They didn't dress up but did some fun Halloween games! They also played a game where they had to find mushy eyeballs in a bowl of spaghetti blindfolded that I didn't have any pictures of! There were 2 teams and each team had to push a pumpkin around a course in the yard with a broom!

This was the winning team!

They also played a game where they picked up cut-out Halloween figures with a straw! Whichever team got the most, won!

This was the winning team!

These are some of his good friends from Eagle Mountain!

This is a good friend he grew up with in Eagle Mountain and lived next door to for a long time!

Kayla's 12th Birthday!

Sometimes with Kayla's birthday being close to Halloween, she chooses to have a Halloween Party! This year she wanted to be a cowgirl! She invited some girls from her new school and they did some fun games.

One of the games they had to search through this bowl of spaghetti for mushy eyeballs blindfolded!

They also played a game where they had a race to pick up these cut-out Halloween figures with a straw. Wow they are talented! This was Kayla's team!

They also played a charades game! This is her group of friends that attended!

Update...please bear with me!

So I have a lot to catch up on! I was trying to decide if it would be best to start fresh this year but decided I can't let last year go by without highlighting everything that happened. We had a lot of fun things happen that I need to journal for myself. I'm doing it kind of backwards. I don't know what I was thinking but I already have a lot done. Still a lot left to do too. I hope you have fun and it's not too torturous for you to go through! I plan on trying (that's the key word) to keep up with it this year! Happy looking...if you can make it!

Halloween '09

We had another fun Halloween this year! Party and another party! Carving pumpkins! FUN! Greg's family does a party every year!

Fun party with our friends!

Pumpkin carving! EEWWW!

Kameron receives his Scout Wolf award!

In October Kameron turned 9 and received his Wolf award! We are so proud of him!

5' 10 1/2"

Kyle has officially grown as tall as his dad and definitely has outgrown me by a long way!As you can see he is very happy about this and thinks it's hilarious!

What are you eating?

K! So everyone knows Kyle can be strange sometimes but this was a little too wierd! He eats some wierd stuff sometimes. So this is 2 chocolate chip cookies in the middle of 2 pieces of bread to make a sandwich! Seriously? I told him I wouldn't put this on my blog but what he doesn't know won't hurt him! hahaha! Are you REALLY going to eat that? He did and ate the whole thing! Gross!

Our cousins new to town!

At the end of October we were so excited to help move in my sister Stacie, her husband Mark, and their boys they're adopting Braeden & Jaxson a couple blocks away! We have had so much fun having them live so close! For some reason we have more pictures of Jaxson. I think it's maybe because Braeden won't sit long enough for a picture! :-)

One weekend we babysat Braeden & Jaxson and the kids got silly!

Karianne loves to do art work! Can you tell?

Karianne's Kindergarten Thanksgiving program!

Karianne's school did a Thanksgiving program for all of their parents. It was so cute!
