Yeah, I'm ready for spring for so many reasons. I'm ready for it to warm up a little (not a lot but 60's would be good). I'm ready to get back outside and exercise walking and running. I'm ready for the kids to be outside more instead of messing up the house when they're home. I'm ready to open my windows and smell and feel the fresh air come through the house. I'm ready to bring out my Capri's and short sleeve shirts! I'm ready to be a little tan (as tan as I can get). I'm ready for the flowers to blossom and to have color outside. I made some flower sugar cookies this week because I'm ready for the spring and it's the only way for me to feel a little bit of it for right now. A girl in my ward gave me a recipe for these (they are the softest sugar cookies EVER! No exaggeration! And they stay soft forever!). Yay for Spring!Friday, February 20, 2009
Ready for Spring!

I agree those are the best sugar cookies! I also agree it's time for spring! I am feeling a little left out I didn't get to bite into your flower cookies. Your heart cookies were beautiful and delicious!

I love when spring comes around too! We do have some pink blossoms on the trees around here already, but we also have the warmer weather also...not too warm, but in the 60's. I would love your recipe for the soft sugar cookies. And I may as well add to the jealousy going on here, because I didn't taste the heart or flower cookies either! Although the peanut butter cup cookies were delish! Love you!
I cant wait for spring.. cant you tell im out for a run in shorts and a tank top... there is still snow on the ground! I cant wait to start walking again and talking to everyone. I hate being couped up for the winter
